Parents are supposed to be responsible for the education of their children. However, other sources information participate in this challenging mission. Technological advancements, media, friends, and schoolmates have a significant effect on how our sons think or behave. Hence, it becomes crucial parents consider approach deal with them. The way give instructions concerning daily routines educational, moral, health care practices is great importance. This paper aims find out educated Iraqi sons. study identifies pragma-stylistic devices that characterize parental instructions. It attempts specify which speech act most dominant if politeness strategies adhered not. Twenty who degree English language participated research work. A questionnaire ten different scenarios some basic often likely given daughters between age 12 16 delivered those parents. responses scrutinized terms perspective following Black (2006) by activating three pragmatic theories, namely; Searle’s (1969) theory acts, Brown Levinson’s (1987) as well Culpeper’s (1996) impoliteness. found prefer indirect giving teens regardless importance these life.
